Organisational Learning and Growth
Supporting partners with assessment, research and evaluation.
Achieving SDG 4 relies on the work of a complex network of education sectors. At Oxford MeasurEd we recognise that our impact can only be achieved through the work of our partners. It is our partners who make policy decisions, implement programmes and deliver teaching and learning. For this reason, we are integrally invested in the individual, organisational and systemic learning and growth of our partners.
Fundamentals of our Approach
We work to use our expertise in assessment, research and evaluation to support our partners across the policy and/or programme cycle. We support individuals, teams and organisations to continue growing their capacity to generate and use evidence to improve learning outcomes for children in lower- and middle-income countries.
We believe in collaboration and multi-directional learning. Individuals and organisations across countries, and at different levels of the education system can strengthen their work through collaborative learning. We see this as learning between equals who can reflect on and share their own experiences in the education sector to generate new understanding and tools.
We are focused on long-term organisational goals. Learning and development should not be driven by external mandates, or top-down directives, but rather by an organisation’s own goals. We work with organisations to clarify and define their targets for learning, before developing tailored and flexible support to help achieve those targets.
We prioritise sustainable and open access resources. When producing learning materials and guidance documents, we aim to produce materials that can be used again and again and aim to benefit the wider sector wherever possible.
